Under Armour has had the magic touch these last few years around their advertising partnerships. From top athletes NBA MVP Stephen Curry, Golf’s #1 Jordan Speith and 22 Olympic medal winner Michael Phelps, to iconic celebrity brands like The Rock, it’s no wonder the advertising alignment with New Yorks great agency Droga 5 has been so exceptional.
Droga 5 has had a lot of buzz around their agency as of late as The New York Times referenced them as the “Stylish Admen (and Women)”, but more importantly were 2016’s Ad Age’s, Creative Agency of the year. The unique and inspiring Under Armour Ad series is a great example of some of their best work.
Creativity around leveraging the portfolio of Under Armour athletes, reminding us all how much work they put into their craft. The overriding message of “Its what you do in the dark that puts you in the light” is fantastic – It’s always fun to see the magic that is made when Top Brands work with Top Agencies and reinvent advertising as we know it.
